I would like to share with you an experience of my mine. Before beginning, I request you to give it a thought about how many times does this happen to you that your inner self has made you do things for someone who is a total stranger.
It was a dull Sunday morning while I was returning back from my friend's place on my motorcycle after a great saturday evening filled with fun, laughter and refreshment. I realised that I was running short on cash and hence I stopped at an ATM on my back home. Because of the saturday night bash I was too tired and after withdrawing money, I was planning to head-back home and take some rest.
While next to ATM there was this bus stop where I heard this old blind man struggling to board a bus to reach his destination which was about 6 kms away. I waited there for 5 minutes just watching him miss one bus after the other because of his ability to figure out when was the bus stopping to where the bus was heading and from where should he get inside. I felt so bad for him because even the bus conductor were not helping him for his inability.
This was the time when some divine power shuck me from inside and just made me help him. I went ahead and asked him if I could drop him somewhere. The helpless old man immediately agreed and we were on the road. It seems that the oldman was new to this part of city and was not much aware of the exact location of his destination.
We went half way and he got off from my motorcycle at a particular signal from where it was another 500 metres to his destination. He just stood there at the signal waiting to cross the road. I asked him if I could drop him to the exact location but no response. I moved on to my final destination but thoughts like-how will this old man cross the road and whether he would go in right direction or not .......occupied my mind.
With such thoughts I couldn't concentrate on my driving hence I immediately turned around and reached that signal where I had dropped this oldman. To my surprise there was no sign of him which got me worried even more...I took the road which he was supposed to take and got even more tensed. Was thinking wish I would have dropped him at the exact address and blaming myself for what if something wrong would have happened to him.
Suddenly I saw this old man holding the shoulder of another person like me who was helping him locate the address where he was supposed to go. After watching him reach his destination, a strange sense of relief I felt within me.
While I was heading back home I felt a little unhappy with myself with the act of not being able to help this old man till his final destination instead of dropping him somewhere in between....but then I concluded that God is always watching and HE always sends HELP to anyone and everyone who is in need and in whatever form.
